Basic information about taking the entrance exam
Candidates applying for admission to the first year of basic academic studies take the ENTRANCE EXAMINATION. When applying, the candidate receives an application form with accompanying documentation. The candidate has the right to apply for a maximum of 2 (two) study programs. On the application form, the candidate chooses the basic desire (1) and the secondary desire under (2). The application form is submitted at the Student Services counter. It is strictly forbidden to submit multiple application forms. The entrance exam for candidates in all study programs is taken in MATHEMATICS according to the program of the high school, high school of mechanical engineering, high school of construction, high school of electrical engineering or traffic school, or according to the following choices:
• ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT - they can take the entrance exam in one of the four listed subjects: MATHEMATICS, WORK ORGANIZATION AND MANAGEMENT, MARKETING and ENTREPRENEURSHIP.
• APPAREL ENGINEERING - they can take the entrance exam in one of the three listed subjects: MATHEMATICS, TEXTILE FIBERS and CLOTHING TECHNOLOGY.
• MECHANICAL ENGINEERING - they can take the entrance exam in one of the three listed subjects: MATHEMATICS, MAINTENANCE OF TECHNICAL SYSTEMS and TRANSPORT SYSTEMS.
• INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES and INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES - SOFTWARE ENGINEERING - can take an entrance exam in MATHEMATICS or in two parts: MATHEMATICS of 30 points and COMPUTER AND INFORMATICS of 30 points. If the candidate chooses to take the entrance exam in two parts, then within the necessary 14 points, he should achieve at least 5 points per individual subject.
• ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING - take the entrance exam in MATHEMATICS or the aptitude test for ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING STUDIES.
• INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING IN OIL AND GAS EXPLOITATION - take an entrance exam in one of the three subjects: MATHEMATICS, CHEMISTRY and PHYSICS.
A candidate who, as a student in the third or fourth grade of high school, achieved exceptional success, by winning one of the first three places, in a national competition organized by the ministry responsible for secondary education, or in a state or international competition in the subject from which the entrance exam is taken, is released from the obligation to take the entrance exam in that subject and is recognized for the maximum number of points that can be obtained by passing the entrance exam in that subject. The right to the recognition of the maximum number of points on the entrance exam from a specific subject is exercised by the candidate on the basis of the Dean's decision made upon the submitted written request of the candidate. This request must be submitted by the candidate together with proof of outstanding achievement when applying for admission and can only be used once.
As a rule, the entrance exam is taken in writing, in the Serbian language, i.e. the language in which classes are conducted in accordance with these Regulations and the Statute.
A member of a national minority whose language is in official use on the territory of AP Vojvodina can take the entrance exam in his native language based on a personal request submitted in writing when applying for a competition for admission to a study program, in accordance with the Regulations.
Persons with special needs can take the entrance exam in a way adapted to their needs, which they propose in writing when applying for admission to the study program in accordance with the objective possibilities of the Faculty.
