Activities

For the last thirteen years, the Department has been organizing an international symposium called the International Symposium Engineering Management and Competitiveness (EMC). The organization and realization of this symposium contributed to raising the level of professional and scientific activity of the members of the Department, but also of the Faculty as a whole, and also to the expansion of cooperation with economic and other educational institutions. Cooperation was achieved with Szent István University, Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences, Godollo (Hungary) and Voronezh State University, Faculty of Economics, Voronezh (Russia), as partners in organizing the symposium.

The members of the Department, on behalf of the publisher - the Faculty, are responsible for managing, developing and improving the Journal of Engineering Management and Competitiveness (JEMC), which, according to the categorization of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia, is categorized as M51 - Top Journal of National Importance. In the last five years, members of the Department have been authors/co-authors of over 40 papers published in international journals from the SCI list, as well as a large number of papers in nationally recognized journals and at international and domestic scientific and professional meetings. The largest number of works refer to the following areas: human resource management, quality management, marketing, public relations, organizational behavior and entrepreneurship. The members of the Department are engaged in several domestic multi-year projects.
