International, national and provincial projects enabled the department to acquire equipment and measuring techniques to achieve the highest scientific research results. In order to achieve the planned research, scientific and educational results, as well as their exchange at the international level, the Department established the Laboratory for Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency. The equipment and knowledge of the Department's members acquired through international projects make this Laboratory the most competent for monitoring air quality emission values and simulating accidental scenarios of air pollution. The Department, in cooperation with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, organizes the international conference "Industrial Engineering and Environmental Protection - IIZS". One of the main tasks of the Department is the involvement of students in research and scientific work, and in addition to the development of research work, the main trend of the Department's work is to create conditions for the international mobility of students and teachers.
