On October 21, 2026, a ceremony was held to mark the completion of the 14th cycle of the Summer Internship Programme, during which the most successful participants were announced and awards were presented for the best project work. The Summer Internship Programme is an important initiative implemented by our Faculty in cooperation with the Zrenjanin Business Association – ZREPOK and the Employers' Union, with financial support from the City of Zrenjanin.
Over the past 14 cycles, a total of 240 students have participated in this programme, gaining the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in a real business environment, collaborate with industry representatives, and develop their professional competencies.
This year, 20 students and 11 companies participated in the programme, while the City of Zrenjanin allocated one million Serbian dinars to support its implementation. Each participant who successfully defended their project assignment will receive a financial award of 50,000 Serbian dinars.
In addition, the Zrenjanin Business Association – ZREPOK provided additional financial awards for the three highest-ranked participants or members of the awarded teams. The first-place award amounts to 60,000 dinars, the second-place award to 40,000 dinars, and the third-place award to 20,000 dinars per participant.
The Summer Internship Programme also has a competitive component, as students work individually or in teams on specific project assignments, with their results evaluated by a five-member expert committee.
This year, the committee consisted of Dragan Vidaković, a representative of ZREPOK, Prof. Dr. Edit Terek Stojanović, Prof. Dr. Dalibor Dobrilović, Assistant Professor Dr. Borivoje Novaković, and Željana Novoseljački, last year's winner of the Summer Internship Programme.
The most successful participants of the 14th Summer Internship Programme were:
- First Place: The team consisting of Sintija Markov, Andrea Bugarski, and Aleksandra Marjanski (Essex).
- Second Place: Petar Mršević (Vorp).
- Third Place: Luka Ivetić (Impel).
The value of this project lies not only in the awards but, above all, in strengthening the connection between the academic community and the business sector. We provide students with the opportunity to work on real business challenges, develop creativity, innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, while companies gain the opportunity to identify young talent and potential future employees and collaborators.
