Abstract: In this article we attempt to review the basic theoretical concepts of e-learning as acknowledged in the relevant literature. We highlight the features of those improvements clearly visible in the field of e-learning, and we also deal with the accepted fact that modern e-learning systems offer much wider functionality than those of previous years. We have examined the status of e-learning in Hungary on a number of occasions, and, on the basis of those projects, we conducted our most recent empirical research in 2017. Our experiences show that e-learning has still neither managed to spread widely nor become a frequently used tool in the country. One of the root causes might be the lack of motivation. Although, we did observe some progress, in comparison with our earlier studies, this was modest. At the same point the results of our research show there is a correlation between company size (headcount and annual sales) and the use of e-learning.

PLANNING, ANALYZING AND OPTIMIZING EXPERIMENTS
Branko POPOVIĆ

Abstract: Research and Development (R&D) encompasses all the innovative activities of organizations engaged in the development of new products (recycled materials, hardware, software, services) or enhancement of existing ones. In the US, the Research & Development cost to revenue ratio averages 3.5% but reaches even higher levels of up to 40%. Research & Development applies scientific methods with iterative and cyclical processes through which information is constantly updated and replaced, using the Experimenting (Design of experiments, DOE). The experimenting is an empirical way to arbitrate competing models or hypotheses in order to test existing theories or new hypotheses. The experimenting not only contains the design as it is commonly thought but includes the sequential stages: creating designs, analyzing and constructing the plans of the experiments, optimizing the plans of the experiments and optimizing the response of the experiments. Experimental designs include different types, but today, factor designs, responsive surface designs, mixture design, and Taguchi designs are mostly used. This paper demonstrates the application of the methodology of experimentation with the creation, analysis, development of experimental plans, optimization of the experimental plan, and optimization of the experimentation response, in one specific example of a chemical reaction from practice, using the computer program Minitab®

KAIZEN IMPLEMENTATION CONTEXT AND PERFORMANCE
Vesna SPASOJEVIĆ BRKIĆ, Branislav TOMIĆ, Martina PERIŠIĆ, Aleksandar BRKIĆ

Abstract: Quality improvement implies the application of quality tools, techniques, methodologies and applications. Through their proper use, the desired level of quality can be achieved and then continuously improved. Kaizen implementation could be of particular significance. This paper covers a survey done at a large multinational company supply chain (sample size 200 companies) and analyses the application of Kaizen and contextual and performance variables using correlation analyses. Survey results showed that the implementation of Kaizen in the company increases performance indicators, especially in the area of quality. Also, Kaizen application is positively correlated to variables such as organizational goals and objectives, the level of formalization, reward system, conflict management and progress and development of employees.

STRATEGIC ANALYSIS OF ZALAEGERSZEG PROVING GROUND
Károly SZABÓ, László SZABÓ, Ágnes CSANÁDI

Abstract: The investment of the Zalaegerszeg Proving Ground was finalized by a government decree - nr. 1292/2016. (VI. 13.) – which was a final result of a 2-year-long teamwork on the overall preparation, resource management and other return analysis calculations. The construction began in 2017, after which the first phase was finished in 2018 - as it was previously planned - while the final date for development is scheduled for the end of 2020. The current paper will outline the future alternatives for the proving ground in the field of the possible operation and return on investment performance from the strategic side. The most important goal of the analysis was to explore the potential outputs of the investment, which gives us a better insight into the economic, social and other effects of the test track.

ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT AND TRUST AT WORK BY REMOTE EMPLOYEES
Srđana TABOROŠI, Edin STRUKAN, Jasmina POŠTIN, Marko KONJIKUŠIĆ, Milan NIKOLIĆ

Abstract: This paper examines and analyzes the differences in organizational commitment and trust at work among conventionally employed and remote employees. Two additional control variables are introduced into the research: Gender and Age of the respondents. The survey included 265 respondents employed in organizations in Serbia (88.3%) and surrounding countries (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia). Remote employees show stronger organizational commitment and trust at work than conventional employees. This applies to the following four dimensions: organizational identification, faith in intentions of peers, confidence in actions of peers and confidence in actions of management. At the same time, the overall sample shows that the degree of engagement at work, as well as the degree of loyalty to the organization, does not depend on the way they work (conventionally or remotely). However, male teleworkers have a very low level of organizational loyalty and it will not be a problem for them to leave their current job if they are offered a better position at another organization. Older teleworkers exhibit statistically significantly greater confidence in management intentions than younger teleworkers. Leaders and managers in conventional organizations should be aware of the potential for employees to experience a decline in organizational identification and confidence in peers and managers. Organizations practicing teleworking must make sure that male teleworkers have low organizational loyalty and can easily leave their current job.

COMPLEX-VALUED STATISTICAL LEARNING FOR INSPECTING YOUTH LABOUR FORCE PARTICIPATION IN SERBIA
Bulent TUTMEZ, Edit TEREK

Abstract: Youth employment in labour force has a critical importance in socio-economic planning. It is expected that the use of dynamic and able-bodied work force can increase the quality of the industrial products and it is also necessary to strengthen the economy. More importantly, the contribution to labour force has a crucial importance for public welfare. At this stage, since the role of young women in the total labour force is not considered sufficiently, this study concentrates on the determination of the relative effect of women labour force. For this purpose, first the youth employment is considered as a complex quantity; along with the real component (young men), the contribution of young women is treated as the imaginary component. By using the data derived from 20 different domains (sectors), the problem is stated as a complex value problem and a measurement uncertainty analysis is utilized. The measurement uncertainty of the complex quantity (employment) is expressed by a region in the complex plane. Finally, a confidence ellipse at 95% confidence level is produced. The phase diagrams produced by statistical learning have provided some abnormalities and also potentials.
